so i have a bold 9900 thats wouldnt turn on and the led flashing red. i found some steps on the net that actually started the update process and everthing seemed fine until the update waited for the device to initialize. from there the phone just went back flashing the red light.

was this progress and i did something wrong, or do i have to wait until rim decide to fix the problem?
