Was waiting for one to dip below $200 on ebay or Amazon (without attached contract), but alas it was not to be. So picked one up new at sprint for around $340 with a deal my wife cut (think she bought out the contract).
So, my trusty Treo goes back into stand-by mode for now, though it still serves as an excellent alarm clock.
Very pleased with the phone. It's like a much better-built version of my old Tour, with a faster processor and a touch screen. Don't think I'll be replacing it until it breaks.

Yep, for what the 9930 does it does better than anything else in MHO....
...As for waiting for it to break you will have a very long time given RIM's average build quality LOL!
...I've still got a slew of old berry's that are still kicking as strong as they ever were.
If you text a bunch I don't think there is a phone out there that outperforms a berry, especially the 9930.....
...I've been trading texts with my sister for the last hour sending pics and short videos.
...NOTHING out there now beats the 9930 keyboard.
In my city in Canada on kijiji there are over 420 adds of owners selling Bold 9900/9930s black or white in new condition with box for 200-300, I saw an add for 180 as well, thats where I bought mine.

Unless they're specifically for Sprint, can't use them. Sprint permanently embeds their primary SIM card - which makes stealing a Sprint phone an exercise in futility.

No they're Rogers or Bell, all unlocked or unlockable and all take sims, works well for me If something breaks ill just lowball someone and get one for 150-200.
