the back still has the original housing because i didn't know how to transfer everything over and didnt think you could but i was not risking it i think it looks cool

I think you already know the answer to that. The quality of aftermarket parts is never anywhere near that of OEM parts... just look at the price

I don't think Phil was trying to be rude to you, I think he was only stating the obvious. Your new housing looks pretty good, but I highly doubt it looks as pristine as a fresh out of the box 9900.

my casing came out of a box :S its brand new and in nearly every thread i right someone smart always pops up and be rude so yeah i class that as rude! and yes it does look as good as the real thing and just to ease the mind of people like phill i even put pictures up of it

My point exactly. I wasn't commenting on Dean's new housing, just answering a question with the facts. Aftermarket parts are cheap for a reason, and that's usually due to their questionable quality.
I actually think it's a shame that RIM doesn't make official OEM replacement parts with a choice of colours. That way we could all bling out our berries without having to worry about whether those parts fit or feel right.

OEM housing is equiped with all parts at back part where battery cover is but costs about 44$

its a very thin plastic sticky screen that goes over the top, a bit like the curve 8520s screen
