    i have FB 4.0.0.3 installed and im finding that the load time on pictures when opening then just way too long. is this normal or just me?

    Takes about 2-4 seconds for the first selected picture and then scrolling sideways is faster for the next few pictures in line then again 2-3 seconds..

    It seems to be a 9900 issue.. I'm waiting forever and it really bogs out the phone after i give up waiting ...So a restart is required...No mobile FB for me..

    I seems to be the more pics that are in the album, the longer it takes to load.

    Not sure if it's just 9900 issue, but it seems Facebook loads the whole album just for the picture ye wanna see :/

    It is a tad frustrating when their's a couple of thousand pics in the album.

    I've always noticed some slowness when trying to load pics on the FB app. Sometimes some don't open at all.

    Facebook 4.0.0.3 is a beta. There are reasons as to why it is in beta. This is one of them, so that users can test the app out and fix such issues. The updated beta seems to be better, but I hear there is another updated beta version coming soon.

    Actually this slow picture loading issue has been there for the official fb app in the app store as well as the beta version. It seems that fb 2.0 back in the days had much quicker picture loading

    Think about it. It's not lte. Data is compressed from BIS servers. I think they are trying to make the app more efficient and they continue to learn from the past. Lets see what they have in store when it officially releases

    Newest version of Twitter in the Beta Zone suffers the same problem.

    They could have used the same image viewer previous twitter versions used,,... BUT NOOOOO!

    They decided to screw up twitter too.

    Picture loading times seem better in 4.0.0.13. Looks like the app just loads the picture instead of the entire album
