Hi all I was wondering if anyone could help me am having problems with facebook I have to actulrly go into my facebook messages to see if I have got a message I've tryed battery pulls reloads os new os and everything :/ its was working fine untill a week ago now its just messed. Up :/thankyou for your time

Try setting the refresh time to a shorter period. If that doesn't work try reinstalling the app or maybe updating it

mines doing this too, regular notifications are fine but my private messages arent coming up as notifications or showing that i have any pms despite having them when facebooks opened on my pc to check later

I've been having similar issues on my 9810 lately, I don't seem to be getting Inbox notifications pushed to my Messages anymore. Might be a server-side issue perhaps?

Might be on FB's end. Not sure. I've been getting all notifications flawlessly.

Maybe re-send service books or try re-registering on the network. It's not happening to everyone which leads me to believe it's fixable on your end. Good luck

Ive been having probs as well....and have read that a lot of others have as well...I think it might be on FB's end. Messenger is totally on and off...and notifications will get stuck in the Notification bar...on my bold 9930...numerous batt pulls have not fixed it. LOL

I think they want their problem corrected, not their grammar...

I'm from the UK too and while I agree that's is NOT how we speak here, people come to forums asking for help, not lectures from the self appointed would-be grammar police. Is this really the kind of community we want here? What happened to being nice and helpful? If you don't have an answer why be like that? Isn't it less effort to remain silent?


I know next to nothing but here is my suggestion.

I would suggest you try removing the app and reinstalling. Probably won't make a difference but its a good place to start. If anyone else has any ideas, now the world can rest safely that every apostrophe is correctly placed, it is probably a good time to speak up.
