I'm running 7.1.0.580 and Error ID: 40820 comes up in BB App world and BB Protect.

Anyone out there having the same problem? Is there a fix?

Need help with this! I can't upgrade apps or backup BB through protect.

Google it. There is a solution under Blackberry Forum.
Say it simple. Open Apps World, go to My Account/Payment Options, after log in with your bb I'd successfully, and go back to bb protect. Error 40820 should be fixed. At least it works for me.

Man, your current OS belongs in a museum !!!

Do a wipe and install the latest available OS, I'm sure that your issues will be solved and you will be surprised how much better your phone will perform.
