    Hi.

I read in the forums and in the product website of Energizer Energi to Go AP650 (Energizer® AP650 Portable Charger for Smart Phones | Portable Charger) does not work with the 9700. However, I couldnt find infor anywhere if it would work with my 9900.

    Anybodyu here tested it?

    Thanks

Make sure you use microUSB cable that is meant only for charging... or if you use the stock cable that comes with the Portable charger, it will work... Do note that the USB cable that comes with the BlackBerry may not be able to charge your BB if you use Portable charger...

I prefer a spare battery given the size this is more convenient to carry in your wallet or card holder

I've used it for my 9700 previously as an emergency charger especially when traveling (although rarely required) and continue to use it now with my 9900.
The only thing I had to do is to use a foam tape to reduce the gap between the 9900 and the charger, to ensure that the charging connector is parallel with the microUSB port on the 9900 (obviously due to the thinness of 9900 compared to 9700).
