I'm dumping my g mail account for while anyway. I want to use the BB email for all emails, is there a way to drop the sprint tag in the emaill address.
name @sprint.blackberry.net looking for something a little more professional.

No. You cannot get rid of the carrier tag.

And just an FYI, it's really not a good idea to use the name@ carrier.blackberry.net email address for anything important.

There are no SPAM filters. The email can only be accessed on the device itself. If you change carriers, you will no longer have any access to the email address. And on and on.

What I said was that it is not a good idea to use the name@ carrier.blackberry.net EMAIL ADDRESS for anything important.

Nowhere did I said "its not a good idea to put your name in your email address".

I personally wouldn't suggest using ONLY your BlackBerry email address as primary.

Choose another domain, outlook.com, yahoo.com, etc. Last I recall, you can't view emails to the @blackberry carrier address online...
