Here's the problem: my Facebook notifications are sent to Messages app but they're listed both as generic email messages AND Facebook notifications (from within the Facebook app).

My previous device, a Bold 9700 (OS 6), would process the notifications as I'd like the 9900 to, that is, just display the notification via the Facebook app without the corresponding email message.

I've poked around the Facebook app and Facebook website trying to configure settings but to no avail.

Which settings do I tweak?

Open the FB app... Menu > Options > Turn off Email Notifications
