Downgrading OS from 7.1 to 7.0 to solve Media Player bugs
- When I received my 9900, it shipped with OS 7.0.0.296.
Upon unpacking, I upgraded the OS to 7.1.0.267 and ever since then had been upgrading OS as & when a new leaked or official OS was made available.
Currently am on 7.1.0.391.
But my primary concern is that when I use the Media Player with a headset, there's NO ALERT heard when incoming voicecalls come thru. Hence, I keep missing important voicecall while I am on the media player.
I need to downgrade and fall back upon an OS where this media player bug doesn't exist.
The shortlisted ones are :
7.0.0.317
7.0.0.439
7.0.0.540
7.0.0.579
7.0.0.585
7.0.0.590
7.0.0.598
7.0.0.609
Since I never used any of the above ever, I have no clues which of these would be relatively bug free and will allow me to use the 9900 in some decent fashion.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.05-22-12 10:52 AMLike 0 - Phill_UKCrackBerry WiseguyIt is highly unlikely that a 'bug' in the latest OS7.1 software would be 'fixed' in an older OS7 version.
I can't say I've ever experienced this issue, as I always flip my phone over to vibrate whilst listening to music, so I can't confirm whether it is present in OS7.
...and 7.0.0.609 is for the 9790 not 990005-22-12 11:27 AMLike 0 - I was having media problems on my Bold 9930, OS 7.1.267 as well. I found out that it wasn't the OS7.1 after all, It was BeBuzz 5.0.24 and since BeBuzz was updated to 5.0.35, I have had NO media problems at all. Sometimes its not the phone its the app not agreeing with the phone. I suggest checking you apps one by one05-22-12 11:56 AMLike 0
