My bold freezes about 1 once a month but it'll take a long time to respond. I have about 4 friends that have the same phone and their phones also freeze's a alot does yours?

used to freeze, then i got .540 firmware and it stopped, currently working .580 on my phone and its amazing, its snappy and smooth as ****.

I'm on .540 and have never had my 9900 freeze or even hang for awhile like my 9700 used to do.

I have the stock OS from ATT, haven't had that freezing experience.

9930 with .374. Never had a problem. I charge every night after running the phone down to about 60%.

I got mine just 3 weeks ago. I ran 7.1 for a couple of weeks, and now .585. Never had any freezing, except for occasional clock showing for 2-3 seconds. The phone would seem to freeze for a few seconds on installing and removing apps, but this is normal.

My browser freezes. When I use the space bar to scroll down, it will work once or twice, then I have to use the trackpad or touch the screen to scroll down, then the space bar will work again, and freeze again.
Also, when using google maps, the whole phone locks up after I open the app, after a minute, it will unfreeze. Very lame.
I also get checkerboards when browsing low bandwidth sites like (wap)cb.com. Unbelievable

I have .374 and it used to freeze alot (up to a 2min wait sometimes!!).

I changed my facebook and twitter refreshes to 1 hour and it has helped a lot!

I still get occasional freezing, but it doesnt last long (maybe 3 seconds)

Once on .296, once on .540 ,now on 7.1 never freeze bc I set meterberry to reset my phone once a day around 4.00 am

Mine not freaze at all, just restarted once when I was on a call, don't know why! But other than that its perfect!

My Bold freezes (touchscreen and touchpad) at least once per day. It will unfreeze itself after a minute or two. Of course when I take it back to Future Shop (where I have it insured) it never happens.

Just got My 9930 yesterday (rep girl asked me why not get Android/Droid or Iphone) I do seem to get the spinning clock quite a few times when oppening apps. I mean the phone does not freeze but it is annoying that i see that spinning thing less than a second.
