When I am playing an audio file off the speaker or earphones, I sometimes turn then volume to the max. However, there are times that while playing an audio file, I would receive an email or text and the notification sound would chirp, then suddenly the audio file plays a little louder. Has this happened to anyone else? Why would this even happen?

I don't remember ever having that problem. If your settings are not the issue, would you consider reloading the OS or looking for a leaked OS?

It used to with headphones in - after an alert the audio would be louder, or something with the eq setting would change.

Not noticed that problem on the current o2 UK build - and I've never noticed it with the speaker.

It's not really a problem it's just a little odd. I find loading OS can be a hit or miss when I try it so I'll stick with the current OS I'm using.
