I'm assuming it doesn't, but wondering if anyone has a definitive answer. Certainly don't need my music files undergoing any further compression.

I assuming getting an uncompress audio file and compress it to format like MP3 or WMA right?

Then the answer is.. DEFINATELY!! But can you hear the difference?

To my ears, no, as long as it's at a high enough bitrate - but I'm talking about "Enable Compression" in the BlackBerry settings, which compresses the data that's stored on your memory card.
