I just noticed, that I really don't use the trackpad at all.

Am I alone in this?

Ditto. I use the TrackPad all the time. Today I was browsing a poorly constructed web Page on my PB. I was forced to switch over to my phone's remote control app so I could use the highly accurate TP.

my office provieded me BlackBerry 8800. there are 9900 and other device too, but really it doesn't make difference. cauese i use it for email/calender and central phone book. bbm is locked, browser goes through my company server with so many restricitions.

I only use the trackpad 90 percent of the time its awesome, all devices should have one its very precise!

I find it awkward not using the trackpad, and I sometimes forget that this phone has a touch screen. It's good to have and use the touchscreen on some web pages but i find it containment to use the trackpad more

The trackpad is my main control! It does everything! And by having touchscreen and keybaord along with the trackpad, just makes everything very fast to access and efficient to use!

youre not alone. my torch has a dead touchpad and it doesnt really bother me with the big screen and menu button.
i just use it as normal with screen touching, menu and back button per se.

i look at it as getting my thumbs ready for BB10. never thought of replacing the touchpad.

I use my track pad 99% of the time to navigate on my bold. I was hoping the new bb10 would have a track pad!

I *only* use the trackpad... hardly ever use the touchscreen.

I probably use the trackpad 95% of the time, but I like having the touch screen option.

I find I use both, left thumb is touch screen and right thumb is trackpad, if I need to do something on the screen not near my left thumb I will use the track pad with right thumb. It took me a while to work out why I was using both

Having said that, I could easily get used to using one or the other, so not too worried that BB10 will be the end of the trackpad. We adapt to things quickly.

I would say about 70% trackpad and 30% touch screen, having a choice is really nice

When browsing and scrolling I'm generally only using one hand, so I use the trackpad because it's easier to be precise. So I almost always use it.

I use the trackpad all the time, it´s my main control. I am very worried that it seems BBOS10 will not have this very important pointing and navigation device.

Primarily due to either direct sunlight which nulls the screen sensitivity, or water/dirt on my fingers from work

My Bold 9900 is my first Blackberry. My last 4 phones were touch screens. I love the track pad! I never use the touch screen! It is one of my favorite features on my Blackberry !!!

Yep...most of the time I use trackpad..It's what makes the BlackBerry different and cool (no matter what anyone in the media might say)
