Have been looking for a new 9930. not refurnished one, please, any suggestion? But can trust amazon, ebay or taobao. Could anyone tell me where can i get one? Thanks.

The phone came out five years ago, "new" is a stretch. And it's not like the 9900, with its limited production re-run.

I bought two brand new ones last year from Amazon for about $120 each. 99.9% sure they were new because the box was in a plastic Sprint plastic wrapping and when I opened the wrapper, there was shrink wrap around the boxes. Also, when I activated one of them, the Sprint person said it have never been activated on Sprint's network.

It took me about 3 times to finally receive a phone that I was confident was new. Pretty sure the seller was TaylorWireless on Amazon.

If you are in the US, keep an eye on eBay. There have been a few 9930 auction recently and the winning price is not too high. Brand new was going at $50-$60. Too bad they did not ship outside the US.

Just took a look on Canadian Amazon and it looks like NEW ones can still be had unlocked for $160 and used were listed at $100. Of course there are always exceptions and also some people have reviewed that SOME have advertized as NEW and they were "slightly used."

Its almost like a roll of the device at this point.

Still......we hear of people being able to get new still....

Why get a new one? Get a used pristine one locally. Just keep checking craigslist. Use Ralph's BUYR code to determine how new or used a potential 9930 is. Good luck!

I did a search on Ebay.ca for 9900's and there is an American cellular company selling new in box ones for $125 I think it was. Of course they were locked to that company but can be UNLOCKED.....

It appeared in the top 5 of results, you can't miss it.
