I would expect so, especially since the last bold did.

    1. A wifi router or access point
    2. A place
    3. Provides signal for users to connect

2+1+3 = A place with a wifi router or access point that provides signal for users to connect

Basically, a device acting as a wifi hotspot means that the device can act as a wifi router, which shares its cellular network connection with other wireless devices that connect to it via the wifi standard.

Then you will have to wait until your carrier implements it.

Bell Mobility has a few memos that state they will be allowing HotSpot in a future software upgrade.

At the moment there is no 99xx OS available (leaked or official) that enables the hotspot.

    It will come...

I am not able to find the way to activate in my BB 9900.
I have been using a Sony xperia as hotspot and it works fine, therefore it should not be a carrier provider issue. As some of you are confirming that it is available can you please tell me how to activate?
It seems I have nearfield communication but not wifi hotspot. Nor I find trace of it in the user guide.
