Just switched to a 9900, how do you mute the ring of an incoming call such that it goes to voicemail?

Press the 'hang up phone' button to the right of the 'back' button.

Thanks, but I guess I wasn't clear enough. That will indicate to the caller they've been 'hung up' on prematurely.
I want to mute the ring, but let the call keep ringing til the default voice mail number of rings, picks it up to voice mail.
edit: never mind I see now, 'ringer off'! DUH ;D - 04-13-2012, 04:40 AM #4
Press any of the volume buttons, the play/pause button, or if use a pouch it automatically mutes it as you take the phone out of it.

On my 9900 when I get a call come through - at the bottom of the screen a horizontal bar appears that says 'ringer off' this call.
It mutes it and the call carrys on in the back ground. You don't see this ? - 04-13-2012, 05:45 AM #6

push one of the volume side buttons...turns off the ringer but still lets its ring until it goes to VM.
