About 2 weeks ago I received my brand new 9930, updated, installed the few apps I use and uninstalled/deleted the ones I didn't. The battery drainage on this phone would be 5-10% per hour! This was a mix of phone calls and web browsing with the backlight set to 10 of 100.
The phone was perfect but felt a little off, it wasn't snappy fast, the screen seemed a bit blue, battery life wasn't great but I convinced myself all this was normal because I was so excited to have a new phone.
I decided to swap out the phone and do the exact same thing again, update and install everything from scratch. This time, the phone seems much snappier, screen is pure white w no hint of blue, calls are crystal clear and best of all, battery life is great. About 1-2% an hour w the same usage! Amazing!!!!
Maybe the one you had earlier was a early production which a lot of the people that bought the earlier made ones were having the those problrms to but congrats the 9930 is a awesome phone.
