can anyone tell me how i can check the date that my bold was made?
i lost my first 9900 and had bought a used one but then the cab company i lost it in found it and i was gonna give the old one to my sister but i wanna check the date it was made as i would like to keep the newer one
Look on the box label. There should be a line that looks something like "090811" above the line that reads "Handheld made in XXXXX X#" (for example, MEXICO 5). In this case, my 9930 was produced in Mexico on 09AUGUST2011.
The older phones also had the date on the battery compartment label, but I don't see that on any of my 9930s.
I am not aware of where you would look on the device itself to find the production date. It might be coded into one of the engineering screens. I don't have a ready link for that though. Your carrier might be able to access that data as well.
