Anyone get a brick wipe to work?

I have not with either of these.

I need to brick this thing before I ship it back to Verizon.

I couldn't seem to wipe it either. I was able to restore to factory defaults though with JL_Cmder. For some reason it only deleted some of my data and apps though. Not sure why. I just let it be for a while, because it looked like it was doing nothing but it did. I used it to fix my phone because it wouldn't load anymore with a java 517 error.
