Hi all you 9900 gurus. I plugged my 9900 into DM today and it says there is a software downgrade. So, I let it do it's thing and was wondering why it would downgrade my applications modules. Does anyone have any idea why?

U should ignored that,because u used higher/newer OS before..
If internet 'ON',DM will look for official OS from ur carrier (sim card operator),even if lower than u used before
In every official OS,although new releases,not followed by last version of application inside...
If there's no backup,u need to update the application manually

That`s due to your Carrier does not have a OS update as most will advise you on here you do not need to use your personal Carriers OS for an update.Depending on what PC system you have i personally use Windows XP no extra XML vendor file to find as in VISTA and W7.
I`m on version v7.1.0.861 as shown in our 9900 posts.
My carrier is Rogers i loaded the one on here no issues....
