Long time Blackberry user. When Sprint finally got the iphone I decided to give it a spin. That love affair has now ended and I'm coming back to the loving arms of my 9930.

Was that issue where sometimes the text message app wouldn't let you scroll up to see previous messages ever fixed? That bugged the crap out of me! Other than that I'm excited to get my Berry back. Thanks.

I've never had that issue on any phone I've had including the 9900

yeah i have 9900 but haven't seen that issue, but didn't get until 3 months after release, so maybe that has something to do with it. but from where i stand it was fixed.

Thanks for the replies. It was an issue that was talked about on this forum after the phone came out. Glad to hear it seems to have been fixed

I hve had my 9930 since aug of last year and I did hve tht issue with the sms scrolling. I haven't had any problems at all with tht though for awhile so yes RIM did get the bug in the OS updates.

Never ever experienced that on my 9900 and neither on all the OS's i have tried out though.

And I had that issue on the origional OS that came with the 9930. As now, the 7.1.0.267 leak that I have on my 9930 I have not encountered that.

I hope that yours works as it should.

Yes that issue was fixed after I got 7.1 on my Sprint 9930 hopefully it never returns!!!

Thanks for the responses! Must have been a 9930 issue that didn't effect 9900's. Glad to see 7.1 cleared that up. Now if the mailman would hurry up with my Bold. The waiting is the hardest part you know.

As soon as you get the phone, I would just update the OS to 7.1. I have no issues with 7.1 version I am running right now.
