Is there a CNBC APP or Google Finance APP for Blackberry that will allow me to create a portfolio of stocks? Is there a great stock portfolio app alternative out there? Thanks.

By far the most objective reviews come from Bloomberg. Between CNBC and Google I would go with Google. CNBC has more distractions and flashing stuff but Google just gives you the facts, without the distractions.

    Hope this helps.

There's also the DailyFinance application which I think presents information in a clean and organized manner.

The Bloomberg app is probably the best free app.

There is a paid cnbcPro app that will allow you to stream live tv, plus it has portfolio features and live quotes. The CNBCpro app doesn't work very well on the OS 7 devices. There seems to be a screen drawing bug for the web/text bases part of the app. The video feed works well though.

I use Blue and it's all I ever needed since. Free app, you have the option to choose which ticker to follow, and has data on almost all the major markets. It also has a live feed for those who are active traders who need to get the most updated data when available. Check it out.

The problem I had with this app is that if you leave it running in the background, your battery is gone in a very short time.
