Haven't been able to track down any info on my clock question. When I plug my Bold 9900 in, the clock stays on (Under clock options, I do have the "Display Clock when charging" option enabled), but only until it's fully charged, at which point the screen goes black. This happens whether the phone is in Bedside Mode or not. Anyone else notice this same issue? I would prefer the clock stay on whenever the phone is plugged in, like all the other BBs I've had.
No, this option should keep the clock even when the phone is fully charged. As long as the phone is connected to the power, the clock should be there.
@OP, What OS version you have on the phone? This could be a bug.
I have never really paid attention to my 9930, but I do remember the screen going black on my 9650 running OS6 when it was done charging. I guess I'll have to charge now and see what happens.

Oh ok... the screen goes black if it charging or not in few min if the back light is set to auto off even when it is plugged. I got the question wrong because my phone's black light also goes off after period of time. Sorry for the confusion.
There must be a setting to change that to always ON when plugged.
To make sure we're not comparing apples to oranges, we always refer to an OS by its Application Version.
So that means you're using 7.0.0.440 now, and you're being offered 576.
Sorry, it's running v7.0.0.576. And mss-ca, yes, that's exactly what I need! The clock on my Bold 9000 never went off when in the "display clock when charging" mode; neither did it on my Bold 9700. Just got the 9900 a few days ago and still trying to figure out the differences. Unfortunately, this clock issue is one that bugs me.
You need to check Bedside Mode for When Charging. Hitting menu and selecting Bedside Mode has never worked properly for me. If I set to Bedside Mode in options, it stays on all night.
Did anyone ever figure out what was going on here? I just got a 9900 and noticed this. I guess it doesn't really matter much but it is annoying. Thanks for any info.
