Default Can't move icons from the media folder to another folder

    Hey guys,

today I mistakenly moved my camera icon to the media folder on the homescreen. Now I'm not able to move it back to another folder. The "move to folder" button just doesn't appear neither in the big menu nor in the popup menu. It's the same with every other icon in the media folder. Can't move them out of it because of the missing button. Please help me!

Tried a soft reset (alt-shift-del) or battery pull? Did you shrink the OS? Mine has that option to move them. I'm on the same release as you are too. It's strange.

Make sure that you are actually in the Media FOLDER and not on the Media PANEL.

I have the SAME problem! I accidentally moved the Twitter app to the media folder and I cant move it anywhere else now.

So my Twitter for BB app lives in the Media folder now

+1 Try your move from the Media Folder on the All panel, and not from the Media Panel

    @ SwitchBeach & pcgizmo

Big thanks to you! Didn't know that there is a difference between the media folder and panel. Moving the icon out of the media folder works. You made my day!
