Did a reboot on my 9900 this morning and now I can not access the home screen. I have the latest OS.
I can get to the switch applications screen and go to the other apps that are showing except for the home screen option.
BTW: when I use my back button from any of the other screens it goes back to the contacts list for my phone.
Anybody able to point me in the right direction?

If battery pull doesn't work then do a wipe. I wipe my BB 9900 all the time and set it up like nothing happened.
I have my phone book and BB contacts saved on my gmail account, so when my cell reboots from a wipe all my phone and BB contacts get restored after i setup my email. Saved my so many times.
I was trying to send another screen shot using screen to tapa and the red button but it will only go back to the home screen, not the screen that I was on and wanted to send.
I'll try 1 more time then I'm just getting a regular screen shot app.
i can actually can get the home screen and the reply screen its just that if i wanted to post a different screen shot, i cant get it to work i was told that to do that, you tap screen shot at bottom, the hit the red button, go to the screen you'd like to photo and hit screen to tapa. It'll then take you back to reply page and it will post that screen image. Thats what isnt working for me but i'll try 1 more time. too busy today. thanks
Well I'll be damned! User error as usual. Go ahead and berate me all, apparently I wasn't following the steps properly. Sorry for wasting you're time all...
Ok battery pull a number of times and also the 3 button pull does nothing to solve it. How can I do a reset or wipe without being able to get to the top menus, home screen?
They say when you install an OS that it wipes it. If there isn't a newer OS or you need wipe you can find the tools on here to do that also. If you need help just ask.
