Try Wireless Warehouse, ( www.blackberryny.com ) at 6th ave and 50th. The normally have them unlocked a few days after release on Rogers. Joe, the owner I think, normally ships them to me.

    i doubt it.

Some locals are having trouble getting the phone at no-contract from them.

they are saving the phones to sign up new customers.

Nothing short of actually going there in person. You have the option to buy it outright from Rogers.com but can't ship to a US address.

Crikey! 1000USD! Well they stock Rogers unlocked so they def aint holding them for locals.

Downtown, Mobilecityonline.com should have them by now for 600-700.

DONT pay $1000 for this. I just went there to see it (never seen the 9900 in person before) and i can tell you this device is NOT worth $1000. In fact, i hope the guy from ontario i ordered mine from falls through because i paid $700+ for it and i feel it is not even worth that much.
The buttons around the trackpad feel and look much much like the current curve 3G not def. not as nice as the 9000.

I think people paying this much for a phone that most people will have access for $199 in a couple weeks would be the worst waist of money ever.

IMO, NO cell phone is worth $1,000.

You won't be able to get it ordered over the phone, especially if you're in the US. Your best bet is to get someone to buy it for you, then ship it to you, or locate a privately owned Rogers dealer who would be willing to perform the purchase and ship it to you; though that might be tricky.
