Anyone has problems with camera app for the 9900? All I get is a black screen and it just stay that way? How to fix?

Have you tried a battery pull? if yes, then have you tried a software reload? if that still does not work, then it should be a defective camera.

battery pull doesn't work so i'm trying to update my os and running into problems!

I'm trying to update my 9900 running 7.0.0.250 to 7.0.0.590 BUT doesn't work!

this is what i did,

i downloaded the '9900M_PBr7.0.0_rel2416_PL5.0.0.739_A7.0.0.590_Par tner_Communications.exe'

from the sticky thread

, i madee sure that i didnt have any other version of device software so i then install the downloaded OS

2, delete the vendor.xml, i searched and only one found and i delete it

3, open the desktop 6.1 and nothing happened! (i also click on update and nothing found -- no new update found or something like that)

so i use the apploader and still wont install the .590, WTF its has been 3 hours or so,

am i missing any steps?

Ok this problem is fixed by updating to the .590 OS
