Hi does anyone know the duration that call logs/emails etc are kept for on your phone ?
I can't seem to find anything in my 9900 settings to determine this - or is this specific to a carrier ?

It is certainly not determined by your carrier. The configuration for emails is in Messages/(Menu)/Options/General Options at least up to OS6, but I have no idea whether it got moved in OS7. Storage for call logs probably follows email storage settings.

On OS7/7.1 the option is in Messages > (Menu) Options > Message Display and Actions > Days To Keep Messages = from 15 days, up to Forever
