BlackBerry OS7 (and I'm guessing OS6, but I have never used it) have a different calender than was present on OS5 and previous.

In my calender options, I have stated that the beginning of the day is 08:00 and the end of the day is 18:00 (i.e. 6pm), which is great.

However, when I view the calender in day view, it shows every single hour of the day, which is a little frustrating because I then have to scroll all the way down before I even get to 08:00.

I was wondering if there is a way to hide the straddling hours of the day? In other words, when I click on 'day view', I want it to show the day from 08:00-18:00 (and therefore hide the hours between 18:00 and 08:00).

    Thanks!

Has no one experienced this? Do I have an incorrect option?

Try using Agenda View rather than Day View. Then, you can also view or suppress seeing free time as well.

Strange. My day calendar by default open to the current time on my phone.

Yeah it opens to the current time of the day, but if I was to add an appointment on a different day, once I click on the day, it begins at midnight (00:00) and I have to scroll all the way down to the middle of the day.

Yeah agenda view is a possibility, but I have just never been a huge fan of it...

If I select Menu -> Go To and select date in future, it opens that date at the time that my day starts, e.g. 7.30am
