Hey guys,

Just got the the 9900, and I'm really digging it. One issue I'm having though, is that in my drop down notification bar, it's showing calendar events for birthdays. That would be fine, if the birthdays weren't 2 and 6 months from now. Quite a needless notification.

Has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it? Can anyone help me out.

If you have no events prior to that they will show as your next upcoming events.

I remember my last phone doing that, I had to randomly stick filler appointments so it didn't show stuff from weeks out.

Wow, really? And there is no way to disable that? Because that's just not thought out well at all

Well, I guess Rim thought people with Blackberries would use their calendars everyday. I know I do.

That's a bit of an assumption. Especially at risk of having something as annoying as that come of it. Gonna have to start using it I guess
