    Noticed the button in between both volume buttons...

    I'm wondering if it actually has a purpose that I'm unaware of? or is it just for relieving stress?

    Used for media when you are playing music/videos. Pause/play and mute

    For me it's my shortcut to Trillian, but that's cause I have 6 tools installed.

    Play/pause and mute button. You could have searched before posting a whole new thread on this. RIM typically doesn't make useless buttons so there is lots of documentation on all the buttons and what they do.

    buy sixtools from shao soft and turn it into a second convenience key
