late at night I find the lowest 10% screen brightness still way too bright and it can pretty easily strain your eyes if you message a lot. For a dollar this app is pretty good and you can adjust the number way below the factory 10% level. You can dim it to almost black if you want! You can also change the colour of the backlight but I like the normal black dim default.

Man I needed this for a long time but never thought to look for one in App World!

Might even help battery life a bit, we will see.

Fairly new also, from 2014. I wonder if other newer Blackberry models could take advantage of an app like this. I know that my iphone has no problems dimming to almost total darkness but I know nothing of how a Z30 is for settings

This app is a God Sent! I might not even need Opera Mini anymore because a big part of why I was using it was for the "Night Mode."

Is there any real advantage to keeping Opera Mini if my browser is fast enough? I don't have to worry about data, I can't even come close enough to using my 5 gigs unless I am on my iphone. Although I do like the News columns there.
