Anyone know what this was for/improved? I didn't notice anything after installing, but My Bold dosn't freeze as much. I see posts about 7.1. Anyone know when an "official" version for att bold 9900 will be availiable?

Grab the 7.1.0.284 from T-Mobile and add 6 months to your life that you would have wasted waiting for AT&T to release it. Just make sure you delete both vendor.xml files before you begin the install.

Be prepared to lose your 2g/3g manual selection mode if you use 7.1.0.284 with at&t. I need the option for 2g so im still stuck with 7.1.0.74 since being stuck on 4g constantly just kills my battery life on my 9900.

am running .267, and haven't tried .284, but minor incremental upgrades do not have significant updates to software or performance imo. so i'd hold out till the next leak which should be in a few weeks i suspect.

@nashstruck that's what I was thinking thanks for the confirmation. This way I don't. Have to play with vendor xml files and stuff. Hope they have something else new up their sleeves the hotshot, nfc and remote on bridge all have been awesome!
