    I don't think this is working by design. Recently I had my BB powered off yet it vibrated (that is my setting for calendar reminders) for a calendar entry.
    I don't recall this happening in the past. I am running 7.1.0 bundle 457.
    Any thoughts?

    When you are powering down are you selecting the full power down option? The OS will typically give you two power down options, where one will allow notifications for calenders and alarms to still function.

    I do not have an option, either from the power down icon or when pressing the power key.

    That option may only show up when you have an alarm set. This issue kind of interesting actually. Try doing a battery pull and see if those notifications still occur when you recreate the situation.
