these two devices are amazing when paired together BUT I have a pretty good question for anyone that has any input. which way of connecting is better? bluetooth or mobile hotspot? sometimes while I'm bridged I'll notice my playbook trying to load a page and it hangs and hangs for about 30 seconds. and if I look at my 9930 the internet data bars aren't even moving or transmitting anything. sometimes switching to mobile hotspot helps but I just wanted to know which is better. and is there any settings for mobile hotspot that will make internet work better and faster? its nearly imposible to watch a youtube video using my phones internet.

For some of us, using mobile hotspot would cost extra money as it is not included in our data packages (verizon). I am speculating: but might it be possible that using the hotspot, you could not be relying on Rim's network? I THINK that when bridged, the pb only can get to site via the Rim network (bis???) so stuff is kind of screened and possibly compressed. The hotspot may just be the unfiltered network. As I recall from a few years back, when Rim was down for a half day, I could NOT use the bbphone browser but that one of the 3rd party browsers (don't recall if it was opera or something else) still worked. But, again, I am definitely not a rim expert.
