What is the safest and stable Version to download for 7.1? I have never downloaded a leaked version before so i am a little nervous if i screw up my Bold 9900. Its on Rogers but It seems they never update it? Thanks let me know as i am tired of 7.0 Bundle 2406....

Im on Rogers and I installed the Bell version and it's been working great for me.

I did it through my desktop. Basically download the file then delete the two vendor files and BB desktop manager will do the rest.

I have a rogers 9900 as well. I download the telus installer from the RIM website and it works great: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...E607FE7CC0E1A0

Remember though you need to remove both vendor files: http://crackberry.com/updating-your-...h-vendor-files

What happens if you don't remove the vendor file? Also when i update do i always have to do this way or i can just download new update from my phone as regular?

Always have to update through Desktop Manager or Apploader. There is no OTA choice yet.
Look at Blackberry101 for how to update an OS.

Im on rogers i installed .268 for the longest time and this after noon just installed .342 with no issue

I am trying to upload this new bundle but when I try to back up it stalls at numerous places such as smart card, slacker radio, Service Books when i try to not to back up the ones that I know it stalls at.
