Bold 9900 Price?
Hello
I currently have a Torch on a 3 year term, which started in November. However, I kinda really want a Bold 9900. To do that, I could just buy a 9900 straight up, without a plan and switch the SIMS, right? But, how much would that Bold 9900 cost? Any ideas or rumours?
Thanks

How much does your carrier charge full retail for a 9780? Figure on around that price for the 9900, they will be in the same class. The 9900 might cost a LITTLE more but not significantly so.

You can switch SIMs assuming you purchase the phone from the same carrier. Otherwise you will have to get it unlocked first. In terms of pricing off the contract, I reckon it will be around $600 or so (just compare it to all previous bolds off contract). However, some carriers or stores may be reluctant to sell you a 9900 without a contract (especially if supplies are low), as that's where they get the bulk of their profits from. They'd rather sell to a customer that is up for renewal, or doesn't have a contract.

I can not believe anyone would pay 600+ for a Torch.

i hope this and torch comes out at the saem time and one is priced a wee-bit lower (25-50$) than the other (pretty much im 51:49 on new bold vs. new torch so price could be a deal breaker...)

With AT&T, it'll probably be $200 on a 2 year contract and $550 off-contract.
My guesstimate.
