Default Bold 9900 cursor is acting crazy, battery pull didn't work. Help plz!!

I just got my bold 9900 yesterday, I found the cursor automatically pointing down towards the bottom of the screen and then the screen will automatically scrolls down. And that happens contantly. I've been searching in the forum for a solution but The methods in other threads are not working on my phone. I tried battery pull for a few times it didn't work. I also tuned down the trackpad sensitivity, not helping either. What else can I try at this point? Please help!! Thanks!!!!!!

Return the phone. Sounds like it is jacked.

If it has warranty then return it. If you got it second hand reload / update the OS and see if that sorts it out. *do the mandatory backup first.

As I've stated before, turning down the sensitivity may seem so help but the problem is in fact a hardware problem. Replacing the phone or trackpad is the only way to fix it entirely.

    Not necessarily.
My 9930's cursor was completely crazy. I turned the sensitivity on my trackpad down to 70 and it works perfectly.
I would suggest that route and testing a few days before returning.
