    i have a 9900 and sandisk ultra 16gb works great. A new piece of information: i had a scratched sim card, data errors at times so i got it replaced for free from virgin. In order to solve battery problems i had i applied dielectric grease to my battery connections in the phone, mem card, and antenna connection, battery charging problems are over. the connections get oxidized after time and dont have a good connection which would explain why my phone before was using more power and i had to charge more often

    yep i have a 32gig scandisk in my 9930. Works fine. I even have a 64 that i use *phone only reads 32 of it though*. You should be fine.

    Yeah a sandisk is they only memory cards I use now. Freezing my battery helped, but in the end my connections weren't clean.
    A little dielectric grease and the phone charges fine

    I tried a 64 GB ScanDisk Ultra MicroSD card in my Blackberry Bold 9900 and it failed.
    Is this a hardware limitation or a software (7.1) limitation?
