When i start camera, first it showed the error msg: cannot start camera. close other applications etc. Only basic apps were on anyway.

Then i tried the thump trick on the lens.

Now the camera starts, but on the screen it shows vertical grey stripes. Also when I capture, the pic still shows vertical grey stripes. (see attachment)

Please give me a solution to this.

One suggestion is to take the device to where you bought it and ask them to repair it?
