    Hello, I'm wondering if someone can help me.

    I've bought a BlackBerry Bold 9900 - It was an A Class refurbished model.

    Now, I come to turn it on and it freezes between E and Y on blackbErrY...

    I've done some research and I've tried ;

    Boot in safe mode - Failed (Freezes same place)
    Reload OS - Failed (App Loader failing to reconnect)
    Leave a while without battery in - Failed (Freezes in same place on boot up)

    I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue, I can send it back, its just a gift for christmas and would rather not if i can fix it myself. - I've deleted Vendor file before reloading OS, and ive left for well over an hour to boot up with still failures to reconnect

    It says - "Reconnecting to JVM" - Then fails to reconnect. (I also have the latest Java on my computer.)

    These are the files and systems im using;

    Windows Based Computer
    BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.2930 (All Languages)
    Blackberry Desktop Manager 7.1

    If it comes to it I will have to send it back and buy another for the meantime, although any help or suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.

    Thanks, Wayne x

    Welcome to CrackBerry! Sounds like a reload is required. Clean your pc first, remove all OS and BBDM and run ccleaner. Reboot, reinstall all. Wipe your BB with bbsak. And follow the normal procedures.
