Which do you think looks better? The Bold with its thin-ness and touchscreen or the Torch with its sliding qwerty keyboard and full touchscreen? I know most of you that look at this will have a Bold 9900/9930 and will say that the Bold is better looking (because you have it) but please try to be honest.
Here are some pictures of each phone for those of you that don't know what they look like:

They both look great, and the Torch is cool, but I don't like moving parts on my phone. I never liked flip phones, and I don't like slide out keyboards. To each their own!

It wasn't a case of looks for me, it's the 9810 had a much better camera, or at least a better camera for what I take pictures of.

In just about all other respects the 9900 is better looking, and the keyboard is wonderful, but I can tolerate the 9810's keyboard; I couldn't handle not being able to take decent pictures of business cards, QR codes, equipment serial numbers, my kids, etc.

I had the same doubts of the camera from the 9900 but im greatly surprised. I takes very good pictures (for me) and if I want a better pic I just take my camera out...

So if your only getting the 9810 for the camera I think its not worth it..

I had the Torch 9800 before getting the 9900. In looks - I prefer the 9900 due to the thin, sleek look. I'm thrilled that they went back to more of the original Bold style.

I love both phones though. Both have pros and cons to their style so choose what you want in a phone and decide on that rather than just looks. If you still can't decide just on what each offer, like I already stated, I think the 9900 is more sexy.

Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing actually.

I've got a 9800 currently, and was wondering if it would be better to go with a 9810 or a 9900 for my next phone.. Although the 9900 looks really awesome!
Been worried about the camera and battery life of 9900 though..

I have both the 9810 and the 9900. Before the release of either device, I got the 9810 because the 9900 was not even rumored for AT&T and had the 9800 which was my first slider. The 9810 has the obvious screen size and AF camera as well as both keyboard types. It has a solid feel. It really comes down to these aspects and the form factor. My 9900 is for work and is growing on me. I love both physical keyboards having owned a 9000, 9700 and an 8310 as well as the 9800 and 9810. It is about the overall device than a single aspect.

i've used 9800 previously, then switched to 9780 due to battery life
then i use 9810 last week and finally deciding to use 9900.

no regrets so far. Both 9810 and 9900 has delivering good usage performance for me
OS7 is LOTS better than OS6. everything i complained in OS6 is working nice and fast in OS7.

IMO the 9900 is better looking, and the keyboard is seriously wonderful, even I can tolerate the 9810's keyboard and like it camera's auto focus, i simply choose 9900 again and again for its keyboard.

9810 is a bit slippery for my finger due to aluminium finish (or paint), and i miss the larger (taller) screen. Torch have lots of shortcuts on the bottom of the screen that i like. But when you start typing, 9900 is the best. i think i can live with everything it doesnt have compared to 9810.

They both fast, battery life is about the same. so, i'll choose 9900

    9930 for me.

But depends on what the user wants out of a device....Each person has different wants and needs and no are the same.
