Default Blinking menu & call button

Hi - longtime forums reader and Blackberry owner. I recently upgraded to a Sprint Bold 9930 from a Bold 9650. I upgraded through Amazon Wireless and have had my phone for two weeks. Recently I've noticed that the two buttons on the left (the call and Blackberry menu keys) randomly flicker or turn on and off while the back and end buttons stay lit. I did a hard reset and uninstalled any extra apps and the problem is still there. Have searched the forums and didn't see anyone else with a similar issue.

After calling Amazon Wireless, they said ha I have to go to a Sprint store to see if they can fix. My concern is that this is a hardware issue and that the lights will continue to flicker and then not turn on.

Should I get a replacement now? Is it even worth going to a Sprint store to see if they can fix? Is this a defect? It's random and I can't replicate by doing something specific.

    Appreciate any suggestions...thanks!

It's not normal, ofcourse it's worth it so go back and let them look at it. Well if you can't replicate it let exchange it or let them fix it.
I never had that problem, all my keys are lighting up as how it should be. So i assume it's a hardware thingy.

Thanks Byul - my concern is that I purchased from Amazon wireless and not from Sprint directly. If I go to a Sprint store, I don't want them to replace with a refurb. I'll go to the store and see what they have to say.

It's ok to have a refurb mate. They are like new or even better in most cases. Most important is that it should work as how it should be!

I feel ur pain. Never had this issue but I hate refurb blackberry's. They always seem to have a specific issue that old blackberry never had. But hey, what's the worse that can happen?
