Afternoon Peeps

For those who have a 9900 and noticed every time you plug it into a PC, its called Blackberry User Tools and you cannot change it.

Here is how you change it.

1. Look for the Autorun.inf file.

2. It should look like this

[autorun]
open=start.exe
icon=blackberry.ICO
action=BlackBerry Getting Started
label=Blackberry User Tools

3. Change label= to anything you want

Mines is

[autorun]
open=start.exe
icon=blackberry.ICO
action=BlackBerry Getting Started
label=Deejay Burnouts Bold 9900

4. close the file and save it.

5. unplug your device and plug it back in.

6. Viola. Changed.

This way allows you to keep the Blackberry Logo as your Drive Icon image. Copy the autorun file and the blackberry icon file across to your external SD card and it works there too. However, change the autorun file to

[autorun]
icon=blackberry.ICO

You can also have any icon for the device too.

Just add an icon file in the folder and then, just rename the icon=blackberry.ICO to whatever the icon is called
