    My husband gave me his bb bold. I know I have to change id. Done a factory reset. When I try to put in id it says cannot be done offline. I tried wifi setup put in password but says unable to connect it says failed to authenticate against the network. Can anybody help please

    What model number "bold"?
    What country are you in?
    What carrier are you on?
    Do you have a BLACKBERRY Data Plan?
    Is the device activate on the carrier's BIS?

    Do a factory reset with desktop manager .. my guess is that your husband had BES and IT Policy is still active in your phone

    @Palm does your 9900 app world blocked or browser blocked ?
    Just factory reset it with desktol manager .. go at Help - support tools - factory reset

    Factory reset as I have told you !
    Connect your phone to the pc or whatever oper desktop manager , go to help - support tools - factory reset , after this everything will work normal , I did these things on my 9900 , and know I am enjoying BIS

    I did - still unable to set my email. I called Rogers and I'm on BIS. Can't get Blackberry Protect to work too. Just don't understand what is wrong
