Hello,
I have the Blackberry 9900 (not under warranty) and all of the sudden when i connect it to the computer it make the sound as if it recognizes that i have plugged in the blackberry, however there is no charge bolt, Desktop Manager dose not recognize it , nor dose the computer in general. I have tried connecting to different computers with no avail. When I connect to a wall charger i have no issues. Only unable to connect to the computer. I am running windows if it helps at all.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

try an other USB cable , thats arrive many time Data cable become faulty

Iv tried 4 different USB cables as well as different computers. I am pretty stumped with this one.

Been having the exact same problem w/my friend's 9930. Trying to upgrade from 861 to 991, but when I plug it in, it is not recognized. Uninstalled and reinstalled DM twice, also replaced the cables. My mother's 9650 and my other friend's 9630 ARE recognized immediately. Its ONLY the 9930 that has this problem. Other than that, the phone is working perfectly.
