    Hello there

I recently got off this Bold 9900 from a friend for free, he left it on charge one night then woke up being like this; https://vine.co/v/MKa9AXDqV5Z

I tried to do the repair by myself but then my PC( Windows 8.1 64-Bit) won't detect the phone, there is no sign of the phone being connected to the pc like a sound a least , but there's nothing.

Please I like the phone operational, so i could go bang two qwerty phones.

    Thank you!

so following that link, when you unplug the battery and plugging in to the PC there is a split few seconds where your device should be detected by the computer?

As of the moment no, could it just be the battery?

Inspect the battery compartment and look for a white sticker. The OEM battery also has a white sticker. If one of these stickers are red, then it has been exposed to water and might be water damaged.

If the circuitry has been damaged, then there is not much you can do. But if you're lucky, it might just be a contact shorting out a connection. In my experience, all I had to do was add a small piece of paper between the battery and door to push the board down and it worked. Your phone might still be good but your battery might be toast.
