hey guys got a new 9900 15 days ago and ive not had too much of a problem with the battery but

    1) i have an over sensitive trackpad means despite me changing the settings to 30 even if you put your finger over the trackpad it moves it opens links to websites on its own without actually touching it any solution

    2) after being on a call it will randomly put my current call on hold and dial the last call that came to my phone dont know if its my face touching the screen or a software bug

    3) not so much of a problem but while typing the keypad is quite noisy when you press the keys which wasn't so bad in my previous bold even if there is no soln for this its not so much of a prob

Whats the diagnosis or since its 15 days old youll recommend me going back to my dealer

I think it's safest to just return it and get another one.

By the way, have you tried a battery pull to see if this fixes the issues?

    Hello my sindhi friend.

No 1 is a trackpad issue, I had that problem on my old bb torch and swapping it for a new device is the only way to fix the problem.

No 2 is usually due to your face being too close to the screen or if your proximity sensor isn't working right. Again, returning the phone would tell you with absolute certainty which it is.

No 3 does sound like a non-issue. The keypad is a lil noisy too I find but I doubt you'd find a set without it.

    Good luck.

I would definintely start with an OS update...

From there, see if you still have the same issues.

If you're within the return window, I wouldn't even mess around with loading another OS. Just get a replacement.
