I have read many posts about bad batteries for the 9930. Mine is awesome. It has exceeded my expectations by far. What a great phone. So happy I own one. I use my phone often during the day for play and work. Yet, my battery gets me thru the day. I end up at 35% at days end. Much better than I thought I would see. BlackBerry. Great job on my phone.
Yeah, it's the same for me. I was kinda surprised since I took into consideration all the things I read here before getting this phone. I use it a lot too (even make calls here and there) and I end up with about 30% around six or seven when my day is done.
Same here. I had great battery life on 374. I loaded both 7.1s (163 and 267) and kept going back to 374 because my battery life was awful with the 7.1s. I was still able to get through the day with mine, but I don't see <5% remaining at the end of the day as being really good power management.
I loaded 267 for the third time from same archived copy of the distribution file, and I finally got a really good install. My battery discharge with moderate to heavy use is still under 5%. My normal use will net a DPH under 2%. No complaints here.
The most recent OS 7.1 leak is giving me 2%/hr drain even with few emails and messages. That's much better than the original OS I had on here with much higher drain rate.
